JOB SUMMARY:

A leading FAANG E-commerce company is seeking a Software Development Engineer (Java) with a passion for engineering excellence. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You will play a pivotal role in crafting solutions that profoundly enhance the shopping experience, handling vast data volumes, delivering lightning-fast response times, and simplifying the checkout process to a remarkable degree.
• You must understand the importance of quality and testability in regards to the long term health and operational excellence of the client's eco system and you will be expected to drive improvements to current and future systems in these areas.
• You will contribute to non-functional aspects of the application in the form of latency, performance, and business investigations.
• You will learn and grow by working closely with senior engineers across our organization.
• The ideal candidate will have excellent technical design, problem solving, Computer Science fundamentals, and communication skills. The candidate should be comfortable interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
• The ability to work backwards and think from a customer perspective is crucial as the ideal candidate is expected to contribute to the product vision in addition to the technical design and implementation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience utilizing Java programming language including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
• 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience in Automated Testing.
