Job Summary:

This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities and operations of the 3rd Shift Operations employees, which consists of warehouse personnel, night loaders, drivers and delivery helpers.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The following essential duties and responsibilities are required of this position. This position may perform additional or different functions from those set forth below to address organizational needs and changing practices.

 

  • Supervises the 3rd Shift Operations of the N.K.S. Warehouse. 
  • Ensures safe, accurate, and efficient loading of all products.
  • Supervises and trains Operations workforce (Warehouse and Delivery) 
  • Coordinate and assign job responsibilities to workers, including temporary workers.
  • Enforce and adhere to all company policies including the employee handbook, Anheuser-Busch Amended Equity Agreement (AEA) section 9, and the CBA.
  • Develop and monitor operations plans and schedules. Coordinate maintenance activities to meet schedules. 
  • Track and analyze operations efficiency measures. 
  • Lead process improvement and initiate change when and where appropriate. 
  • Enforce and promote OSHA safe working practices. 
  • Conduct quality control and safety inspections of work procedures. 
  • Operate a computer and other office equipment as assigned. Must have knowledge and working skills for all warehouse equipment, applicable VIP and related programs.
  • Perform Inventory control and Location Based Inventory maintenance with RF units as well as monitor code dates and aging products.
  • Punctual attendance is required.
  • Responsible for maintaining strict code date rotation policies and requirements.
  • This position requires that the supervisor remain on site in the warehouse throughout the entire night shift. There can be no sleeping during work hours or lunch breaks.
  • All other duties as assigned.

  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company guidelines. 
  • Forklift knowledge and experience preferred 
  • Any combination of education and/or experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities necessary for satisfactory job performance. A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business administration, inventory control, warehouse, facilities and fleet management is a plus.
  • Leadership skills, comfortable with change, and the ability to lead change. 
  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, codes and regulations including those related to facilities and fleet maintenance and safety standards, such as: D.O.T. and OSHA regulations.
  • Solid interpersonal skills and team building experience. 
  • Operational characteristics and use of standard equipment including computers and applicable software applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and VIP.
  • Occupational hazards and standard safety procedures. 
  • Technical and problem-solving skills. Capable of analyzing and identifying issues and then proposing and implementing approved solutions.
  • Willingness to work other shifts and weekends, as necessary.
