A&P Licensed Aircraft Mechanic

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

We seek an A&P Licensed Aircraft Mechanic to perform the following responsibilities:

  • Perform aircraft maintenance inspections and repairs on aircraft to designated qualifications
  • Approve aircraft for return to service after scheduled or unscheduled maintenance
  • Respond to discrepancy reports
  • Assist in determining the necessary parts for service
  • Responsible for proper work order and logbook documentation
  • Participate in the company safety program and adheres to workplace safety regulations
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workspace within hangars, office, and parts storage

Job Requirements:

  • Available to work on-site at our maintenance hangar facility located in Sioux Falls, SD
  • FAA issued A&P license is required
  • Previous experience as an A&P mechanic preferred
  • Inspectors Authorization Certificate preferred or willing to obtain through company sponsorship
  • Must be able to obtain airport security badge clearance
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Computer skills and general software knowledge is preferred
  • Ability to adhere to our government-regulated drug and alcohol program
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record of 5 years
  • Criminal background studies must not disqualify a candidate

Position Specifics:

  • On-site job location at Sioux Falls, SD airport
  • Full-time status with typical hours of Monday- Friday 8 AM – 5 PM
  • A competitive compensation package is negotiated based on licensing and experience—overtime compensation over 40 hours/week. Future performance/compensation evaluations are available.
