Job Description

As an AI Engineer at Nagish, you will focus on designing, developing, and deploying AI and machine learning solutions that directly impact communication accessibility for Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals. You’ll work closely with engineering and product teams to create robust, scalable solutions, ensuring that your models and systems perform seamlessly in real-world production environments.

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and marketing teams to develop AI-driven solutions that address business challenges and improve access to communication. 
  • Develop, optimize, and deploy machine learning models in production environments, specializing in Large Language Models (LLMs), natural language processing (NLP), speech-to-text, text-to-speech, sentiment analysis, and audio signal processing.
  • Build and maintain scalable, production-grade AI pipelines that support the integration and automation of machine learning models into live systems.
  • Continuously monitor model performance and conduct regular tuning and maintenance to ensure optimal performance in production environments.
  • Analyze real-time data streams, user behavior, and system performance to drive improvements and ensure that models are working effectively under various conditions.
  • Design and implement dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate model performance and impact to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI technologies and production deployment practices to ensure the integration of cutting-edge innovations

REQUIREMENTS

  • 6+ years of experience as an AI Engineer, ML Engineer, Data Scientist or in a similar role, with a proven track record of deploying machine learning models in production environments.
  • Deep understanding of machine learning, data pipelines, and AI systems, with experience ensuring these models operate at scale in real-time environments.
  • Interest in NLP, audio processing, and working with large language models (LLMs), with practical experience in production-grade implementations.
  • Proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar, with a focus on deployment and optimization.
  • Strong experience deploying and maintaining AI models and data pipelines in cloud environments (e.g., GCP, AWS), ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
  • Experience with model monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting in production to address issues in real-time.
  • Experience with real-time data processing, streaming analytics, and ensuring low-latency performance in production systems - An advantage

  • Continuously learn and stay updated on the latest advancements in AI, ML frameworks, and industry trends.
  • Actively share insights, findings, and best practices with the team to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
