Job Title: Architectural DesignerJob Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Drafter/Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Architecture or a similar degree and demonstrate excellent knowledge of building codes for multi-family projects. This role requires proficiency in Revit and a working knowledge of construction document preparation. The successful candidate will be an independent self-starter, capable of quickly adapting to new projects. Experience in mixed-use, multi-family, and commercial projects is preferred.
Responsibilities
Design, detail, and draft plans for multi-family, commercial, and NYCHA projects, primarily in New York City.
Utilize Revit and AutoCAD for project development.
Manage multiple filings and drawing sets for large preservation and rehabilitation multifamily projects across the NY Metro Area.
Lead a team of junior architects and consultants, ensuring client relationships are maintained and project deadlines are met.
Visit project sites to assess conditions and develop practical solutions.
Produce drawings and specifications for the renovation and restoration of numerous apartments in New York City and the surrounding region.
Conduct site visits to take measurements and photographs of existing conditions.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
Proficiency in Revit
Knowledge of building codes for multi-family projects
Experience with historic preservation and rehabilitation
Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience, including experience with BIM
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with NYCHA projects
Experience in Affordable Housing, Design Development
Familiarity with construction administration and project management
Ability to manage client relationships effectively

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/hr.
