Architectural Designer

Southwest Metro | Direct Hire | $80,000 to $115,000

Konik is partnering with a Design-Build Company of high-end home renovations seeking to add an experienced Architectural Designer to their team. Work for a company with very little turnover and a strong reputation for quality work and craftsmanship. In this role, you will work in collaboration with an Interior Designer and Cabinet Designer to produce architectural designs that meet the clients' expectations.

Architectural Designer Responsibilities:

• Provide detailed and creative industry-leading architectural, interior and exterior, design services to residential clients.
• Design and produce conceptual drawings, architectural details and construction document sets on CAD
• Will collaborate with the design team, sales team, and client throughout the design-build process
• Attend client meetings and staff meetings
• Coordinate with outside consultants (engineers and land surveyors)
• Conduct site verifications
• Review structural and truss drawings
• Submit applications (permit, variance, city)

Architectural Designer Requirements:

• Bachelor’s OR Associate's degree in Architecture 
• 8+ years of knowledge and experience in the residential building and remodeling industry
• A solid working knowledge of developing details for residential architecture
• CAD experience required: Chief Architect, AutoCAD or Revit
• Proficient in MS Office
• Excellent communication skills - verbal, written, and interpersonal
