Role: Sr. AS400 / CA-2E (SYNON) Developer
Experience Required: 15+ Years
Duration: 6 Months (extendable to 12+ months)
Start Date: 02-Oct-2025
Rate: $80/hr
Work Mode: Preferred onsite / co-location, open to remote

We are looking for a highly experienced AS400 / SYNON Senior Developer with deep functional knowledge of PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) systems. The candidate must have strong hands-on expertise in CA/2E (SYNON) and COBOL on AS400 , along with solid understanding of core adjudication, pricing, and accumulator logic .

• 15+ years of hands-on development in CA/2E (SYNON)

  • Programming, arrays, commit control

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in COBOL AS400 / COBOL ILE

• Strong experience with:

  • iSeries / AS400 (Mid-Range)

  • ILE, COBOL/400, CLLE

  • DB2/400

  • SQL

• Experience working with ACMS / MOM

• Strong exposure to DB2/400

• Core adjudication

• Pricing & patient pay

• Accumulators

• Medicare Part D (Med D) pricing

• Benefit plans

• PBM regulations

• RxClaim domain knowledge (highly preferred)

• Analyze and understand functional and technical requirements

• Collaborate with business and capability teams to refine requirements

• Provide hands-on development and technical leadership

• Guide and mentor team members (onshore/offshore model)

• Build scalable, efficient, and reliable solutions

• Identify opportunities to optimize and fine-tune applications

• Participate in Agile / Scrum development processes

• Coordinate with clients for requirement clarification and solution design

• Contribute to the technology roadmap (functional and technical)

• Support continuous integration, improvement, and learning initiatives

• Bachelor's Degree (Required)

• Master's Degree (Preferred)
