Job Description

Position Summary:

In conjunction with the Casino Manager, leads and manages the Casino operations including the core functions: day to day operational activities, guest relations, maintaining compliance in all gaming rules as per SQM, and directing the performance management of the Casino Staff.

Hiring Requirements:

Minimum one-year experience internally as a Senior Casino Supervisor with consistently high performance ratings.; One to two years progressive supervisory experience in a casino function with resorts, cruise lines, and hotels.; Ability to make decisions based on sound judgment regarding rules and regulations.; Ability to observe and recognize payout accuracy, dealer behavior and associated activities.; Satisfactory completion of Gaming Board/Commission approved dealer school.; Ability to manage the financial aspects of a casino operation, including the successful identification of expense reduction through cost efficiencies and revenue growth through promotional and up-selling activities. Ability to manage headcount within area as it relates to and supports the business needs of the vessel.; Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal service including needs assessment techniques, quality service standards, alternative delivery systems and customer satisfaction evaluation techniques.; Knowledge of policies and practices involved in the human resources function. Ability to manage the international staff in a positive and productive manner by motivating, developing and managing employees as they work. Ability to utilize and administer the disciplinary action process through coaching and counseling to improve performance or terminate employment.; Through working knowledge of computers, Internet access and the ability to navigate within a variety software packages such as Excel, Word, or related programs.; Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration or related filed from an accredited college or university or the international equivalent preferred;
