Assistant Director of Athletics - Revenue Generation Hiring Department The University of Texas Permian Basin's Athletics Department welcomes applications for the position of Assistant Director of Athletics over Revenue Generation
Salary Range $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 depending on qualifications and experience
Essential Functions This position will play a pivotal role in the success and growth of our Athletics Department. Revenue Generation is responsible for driving the financial success of the Champions Fund and other revenue initiatives. Reporting to the Vice President for Athletics, this role manages all fundraising activities, including donor relations, corporate sponsorships, and major events. Key duties involve developing and executing the Annual Fund plan, overseeing donor records, and implementing corporate sales campaigns. This position also ensures compliance with regulations and serves as a key liaison between the Athletics Department and the broader community, contributing to the growth and sustainability of Falcon Athletics.
1. Coordinate and direct the Champions Fund. Specific duties include, but not limited to:
a. Develop and implement a comprehensive Annual Fund plan.
b. Organize and coordinate the annual renewal (mail & email).
c. Organize and implement fundraising campaigns to include the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of all donors.
d. Maintain and service all donor records.
e. Maintain and update computer system for fundraising.
f. Provide appropriate fundraising reports.
g. Plan, organize, and distribute member benefits.
h. Provide a series of activities for donors designed to ensure their continued interest in Falcon Athletics.
i. Develop, publish and distribute a newsletter at least every other month.
j. Recruit and oversee volunteers as needed
2. Coordinate the solicitation of all Corporate Sponsorships. Develop and implement a plan for the renewal of existing sponsors and the solicitation of new sponsors, including securing sponsors for various promotional items. Inventory items include, but not limited to schedule cards, schedule posters, game programs, scoreboard advertisements, venue signs, and internet advertisements.
3. Develop and implement a corporate season ticket sales campaign for select sports each year.
4. Assist with all ticket distribution.
5. Coordinate all fundraising events within the Athletics Department.
6. Keep the VP for Athletics and the VP for Institutional Advancement current on all activities, plans and evaluations relating to projects within the revenue generation area.
7. Be committed to the compliance process and assist with rules-education.
8. Serve as an ambassador of the University and the Athletics Department to all public entities.

Required Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree
2. Two (2) years' experience in fundraising in nonprofit/collegiate setting within intercollegiate athletics
Preferred Qualifications 1. Master's degree
2. Two (2) years' experience in fundraising within intercollegiate athletics

Schedule Generally, the normal work hours for the university are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 - 5:30 pm; Friday, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm with a one-hour lunch. The individual holding this position may need to be available early morning, evening, and on weekends to meet the needs of the department. Hours worked may differ with some departments.
Standard Working Conditions 1. Able to lift various materials up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis.
2. Able to bend, crouch, and reach continuously.
3. Physically able remain seated, frequently to continuously.
4. Able to remain standing up to 15% of the time.
5. Possesses dexterity abilities required to perform job duties including extensive keyboard work, operating office equipment, performing filing, and other job-related responsibilities that include extensive wrist and hand movement.
