Job Summary:
Rolling Hills Country Club seeks a detail-oriented, personable individual with a positive attitude to handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions.
Responsibilities
· Accounts Payable
o Process all accounts payable transactions, including accurate G/L coding of invoices
o Prepare weekly checks for management’s review and signature
o Maintain vendor database including W-9’s, COI, and annual 1099 reporting
o Reconcile vendor statements
o Reconcile the Club’s credit card statement
o Reconcile monthly payments to golf and tennis professionals
o Maintain all scanning and filing as needed
· Accounts Receivable
o Assist in monthly preparation of member billing
o Process daily point-of-sale transactions
o Mail member statements monthly
· Other
o Contribute to the month-end close process
o Perform account reconciliations and prepare journal entries
o Prepare monthly sales and excise tax returns
o Maintain ad hoc schedules as needed
o Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
o Assist in audit preparations
o Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned
· Qualifications
o Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting
o Experience with Jonas software preferred
o Hospitality industry experience a plus
o Proficiency in MS Excel and Word
o Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
o Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
o Organized, flexible, enthusiastic, and positive attitude

· Compensation
o Competitive hourly rate based on experience
o Part time position: Monday – Friday, 20 hours per week
