Job Description

Loureiro Contractors, Inc. (LCI) is looking for  motivated  Carpenters throughout Connecticut to build careers in the heavy site/civil and environmental construction/remediation industry. We directly self-perform environmental remediation and geotechnical civil construction work, using in-house personnel and equipment resources.

• 3+ years of experience and possess a solid work ethic;
• Carpenter must have experience in the environmental or civil construction industry;
• Experience with Rebar and Concrete;
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds;
• Must pass a background check, physical/drug test;
• 40-hour Hazwoper training preferred;
• Comply with and promote all Safety policies and procedures including reporting all accidents, incidents, and near misses to ensure adherence to the Company’s safety policy.
• Wear  PPE at all times on the job site;
• Must be willing to join the Local Union.

Carpenters will work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Safety is a top priority and must have knowledge of safe work practices on a construction site.
