Hiring: Counter Sales – HVAC & Plumbing Supply

Job Type : Full-time (40 hours), 7 am -5 pm,

Pay Rate : $20-22 per hour, + Commission paid monthly

Position Summary
We’re looking for an energetic Counter Salesperson who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys helping customers find the perfect solution. In this role, you’ll assist walk-in and phone-in customers, promote our stocked products, and use your product knowledge to upsell and cross-sell for maximum customer satisfaction and sales growth.

What you will do

• Assist customers in selecting HVAC and plumbing products that meet their needs.
• Recommend complementary items and promote stocked brands.
• Educate customers on product features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked counter area and displays.
• Process orders accurately and efficiently using company systems.
• Follow up on open orders to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Stay up to date on product knowledge and industry trends.

What you will need

• 2+ years of counter sales or customer service experience in HVAC, plumbing, irrigation, or fire suppression with wholesale distribution.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for up to 8 hours per day.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn company software quickly.
