Description We are currently in the process of recruiting a Customer Service - Billing Supervisor/Manager. The successful candidate will be based in Marina, California. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity and involves managing customer accounts, processing credit applications, and handling customer inquiries. Responsibilities: - Effectively supervise employees, plan work assignments, and provide necessary training. - Accurately maintain and manage customer accounts. - Process customer credit applications with efficiency and accuracy. - Ensure adherence to all Federal, State, and local laws, regulatory codes, and ordinances relevant to Customer Service, Billing, and Meter Reading functions. - Utilize computer applications related to the work, including word processing and spreadsheet applications. - Implement principles and practices of public administration and program management, including strategic planning and evaluation. - Maintain effective relationships with the public, vendors, staff, and Board members. - Respond accurately to inquiries regarding accounting functions and analysis. - Apply practices and procedures related to accounting, business arithmetic, statistical techniques. - Manage records according to established principles and practices. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role - Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems - Experience with ADP - Financial Services - Familiarity with Concur - Competency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) - Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning - Proficiency in About Time software - Understanding of Accounting Functions - Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) - Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) - Proficiency in Auditing.
