Job Title: Echo Technician

Local: $2,610
Travel: $3,015
Perform a variety of echocardiographic procedures, including:
2-D and 3-D transthoracic echocardiograms
Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
Exercise and pharmacologic stress echocardiograms
Assist in intra-procedural echo imaging for cardiac and vascular interventions
Ensure accurate acquisition and interpretation of images to support timely diagnoses
Maintain clear and accurate patient records and documentation in EMR systems
Participate in departmental training, quality assurance, and improvement initiatives
Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff
Required:
Experience in cardiac ultrasound
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) via ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via CCI, or eligibility for certification
Current BLS certification (AHA approved)
Minimum 6 months of hands-on echocardiography experience
Familiarity with EKG rhythms and related cardiac terminology
Preferred:
Associate’s Degree in a health science or cardiovascular technology field
Candidates without current RDCS/RCS certification may be considered if experienced and must obtain certification within one year of hire
