Job Description

GPI is seeking a full-time entry-level Construction Inspectors for our growing New England Region. This position provides the flexibility to be involved in public projects depending on the candidate's interests. The immediate role is open to a wide range of experience and responsibilities and GPI is seeking candidates who are looking for an opportunity to be a key player within the inspection team. For more information, visit: Responsibilities: Observe construction projects to identify and document work that is being performed in accordance with approved contract documents, plans, and specifications Prepare detailed daily reports that will record the daily activities and be submitted for the project needs Provide site support for on-site engineering subcontractors Report contract changes and document any possible project issues Monitor all on-site activities while representing GPI and the client Qualifications: Ability to comprehend contract documents, plans, and specifications and ability to effectively communicate with project construction personnel and contractors Ability to comprehend shop drawings, material specifications, mechanical operations, basic electrical and process control, and the ability to ask for help when needed H.S. Diploma and interest in an experience with inspection on large, multi-discipline projects Valid driver's license required
