As an
Estimator , you'll play a vital role in our project planning process, reviewing specifications, preparing accurate cost estimates, and supporting our sales and project management teams to ensure every job starts with a solid foundation. This is an
on-site position at our Greenville, NC, office, ideal for someone who's detail-oriented, eager to learn, and ready to grow in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities - Review project specifications, drawings, and proposals to prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
- Collaborate with sales, project managers, and field teams to ensure estimates align with project scope and client needs.
- Maintain and update cost databases, vendor pricing, and subcontractor relationships.
- Assist with bid proposals and follow up on submitted bids.
- Participate in pre-construction meetings and provide input for scheduling and resource planning.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies.
Qualifications - Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications (training provided if needed).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with estimating software a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to learn and grow, experience in estimating or construction is a plus, but not required.
Compensation - Full time position
- Starting at $55,000, based on experience and qualifications
- Health insurance (50% company-paid for employee coverage)
