Job Description
EOIR Paralegal will assist attorneys with all aspects of immigration court proceedings, including preparing case filings, communicating with clients, and managing case deadlines. This is a full-time, remote position, but preference will be given to candidates located in Florida who can provide local support when needed.
Responsibilities:
• Hold client interviews to gather information about their legal problems
• Aid lawyers in trial preparation by preparing and organizing exhibits, organizing and coordinating witnesses, conducting research on legal articles, and assisting with client meetings and filing motions
• Prepare and file EOIR motions, briefs, applications, and appeals
Qualifications:
• Talented communicator and writer
• Must have great time-management skills, and organizational skills
• 3+ years of legal service experience under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting
• Strong knowledge of immigration forms, procedures, and court filings About Company:
