Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in Madison, WI. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse and material handling systems. Responsibilities
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate inventory management.
Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse layout for optimal efficiency.
Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of material handling systems.
Qualifications
Valid forklift license and certification.
Proven experience in operating forklifts and material handling systems.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
