We leverage geospatial technology to drive data-informed decisions and innovative solutions. We are seeking a skilled Market Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will collect, analyze, and visualize spatial data to support projects in [specific areas, e.g., identifying ideal markets for healthcare and senior living development, incorporating physician-specified criteria within analytical research efforts, and gauging the competitive environments of both facility-oriented and physician-oriented projects]. This role involves creating maps, performing spatial analyses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Market Analytics.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Acquire, process, and manage both geospatial and market-specific datasets from various sources.
  • Perform spatial analysis using tools like Maptitude, ArcGIS Online, QGIS, or similar.
  • Design and produce high-quality static and interactive maps, dashboards, and reports for clients.
  • Develop and maintain datasets, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with clients to define requirements and interpret results.
  • Stay current with GIS technologies, trends, and best practices; recommend improvements to processes and tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage relationships with external partners.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of professional GIS experience; entry-level candidates with strong internships or academic projects may be considered.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Geographic Information Systems.
    • Strong knowledge of cartography, coordinate systems, projections, and data formats.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication, and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geography or relevant work experience analyzing market data.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal) for presenting research and analysis findings.
  • Familiarity with the healthcare real estate industry. 

Location 

Located in North Dallas, near the intersection of LBJ and North Central Expressway, MedCore’s office is an easily accessible location for commuters. This position will also have the benefit of working in a fully renovated private office, together with paid parking and amenities (including use and access to the building’s fitness center). This is a full-time in-office position.
