We're Hiring: Research Associate - Histology! We are seeking a detail-oriented Research Associate to join our histology team and contribute to cutting-edge research. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with tissue processing, microscopy, and laboratory techniques to support our research initiatives and advance scientific discoveries. Location: San Diego, California What You'll Do Provide robust and reproducible histology sample preparation Develop, qualify, and apply specialized assay protocols Qualify and quality control existing assay and staining methods Support automated specimens and slide tracking Work with the team lead and vendors to upgrade, customize and maintain instrumentation Maintain specimen inventories and laboratory records Assist with creating and optimizing SOPs and technical training materials Assist with new user training What We're Looking For Must have a BS in Biology, Chemistry or related field At least 1 + years of relevant experience Proven experience with grossing, embedding, microtomy, cryo-sectioning, and routine histological stains with both fresh and frozen fixed samples Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good teamwork and communication skills Ability to work on multiple tasks and meet deadlines Ready to advance scientific research?
