Human Resources Generalist
Location: Sheboygan, WI
Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site

Compensation: $65,000–$75,000 per year

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Generalist to support the HR needs of a manufacturing facility in Sheboygan, WI. This role focuses on recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and HR administration while collaborating closely with corporate HR and plant leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Stay informed on HR industry developments and best practices.
• Develop and maintain HR metrics, reports, and records in compliance with EEO and privacy regulations.
• Support compliance with employment laws, including posting notifications and maintaining accurate employee documentation.
• Provide guidance on policy administration and interpretation.
• Assist in creating and updating job descriptions and organization design initiatives.
• Conduct job interviews, new hire orientations, and onboarding processes.
• Administer benefits, including open enrollment and new hire sessions.
• Oversee annual performance reviews and support talent management initiatives.
• Manage terminations and conduct exit interviews.
• Organize employee engagement activities, events, and communication efforts.
• Partner with the EHS team to coordinate safety meetings and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• 3+ years of HR generalist experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of ADP, KRONOS, or ATS systems (preferred).
• Bilingual abilities (a plus).
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification (a plus).
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
