What You'll Do:

Provide Compassionate Care: Offer culturally sensitive, client-centered individual, group, and family counseling to support clients in their mental health journey.
Comprehensive Assessments and Treatment: Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
Connect Clients with Resources: Facilitate referrals to essential community resources and collaborate with case management services.
Crisis Intervention: Offer immediate support and crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute behavioral health challenges.
Collaborative Care: Work closely with a multidisciplinary primary care team to integrate behavioral health into holistic patient care. Participate in case conferences and coordinate care with other programs.
Maintain Accurate Records: Document and maintain detailed clinical records in compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
Professional Development: Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Community Support: Complete and maintain LPS 5150 Authorization certification and provide officer-of-the-day support.
Team Collaboration: Establish and maintain effective working relationships within a diverse and supportive team.
Additional Duties: Complete other related duties and projects as assigned, contributing to the overall success of our programs.
What We're Looking For:

A Master's degree in social work or psychology.
Current registration or licensure in the state of California as an ASW, AMFT, APCC, LMFT, LCSW, or Licensed Psychologist.
At least one year of clinical experience in Integrated Behavioral Health, Specialty Mental Health, and/or Brief Therapy Models.
Experience providing behavioral health counseling in a healthcare or similar setting is highly valued.
Strong understanding of DSM-V criteria for diagnosing behavioral health conditions.
Proficiency in electronic health records and clinical documentation.
Knowledge of laws and ethical standards related to clinical care.
Familiarity with the Improving Mood Promoting Access to Collaborative Treatment (IMPACT) Model of Care and Managed Care Models is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Bilingual skills in a second language (especially Spanish, Mandarin, or Vietnamese) are highly desirable.

Mental Health Counselor II (MA Licensed): $87,412 - $102,838
Mental Health Counselor III (Post-Doc/Unlicensed Psychologist): $103,854 - $122,181
Mental Health Counselor IV (Licensed Psychologist): $113,201 - $133,178
Salary is based on licensure and years of experience.
