Job DescriptionOur client is looking for a journalistic-style Copywriter to join their team!You must be able to attend on-campus events in Westchester, NY. The ideal candidate is a strong writer who is capable of attending events and producing engaging, high-quality content for our clients newsroom website.Responsibilities:-Attend campus events in person and cover them for the client's newsroom website, writing engaging articles -Conduct interviews with faculty, staff, students, and senior leadership as needed-Contribute written content to the institution's annual magazine as needed-Take detailed notes and ensure factual accuracy in all written materials-Collaborate with communications and marketing team members to align messaging and tone-Maintain a professional presence at campus events and represent the communications team with confidence and curiosityQualifications:-Strong writing experience with experience in a journalistic writing role -Strong interviewing skills; comfortable asking thoughtful, on the spot questions.-Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a clear, engaging style.-Familiarity with digital publishing tools and content management systems is a plus.In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
