Position description The UC Irvine School of Education has need for temporary, part-time lecturers in Winter and Spring to teach research methods, policy, and advanced writing courses in the Education Science undergraduate degree program. Courses are typically pre-scheduled for either 80 minutes on Tuesday/Thursdays or for 50 minutes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Classes will be held in person.
Service Period Dates for 2024-2025 Academic Year:
Fall Quarter: 9/23/24-12/13/24
Winter Quarter: 1/2/25 - 3/21/25
Spring Quarter: 3/26/25 - 6/13/25
Minimum Qualifications:
A master's degree, a record of successful teaching experience, and demonstrated expertise in the content of the course to be taught. Relevant experience may be considered.
Desired Qualifications:
A doctoral degree in education or a field related to the course to be taught. Teaching at University level; experienced in digital learning technologies and using Canvas as a learning management system.
