Position:Maintenance Technician 

Classification:  Full-Time Hourly

Reports to:  Director of Facilities, Facilities Maintenance Manager (FMM)

Lenawee Christian Ministries provides a Christ-centered education, spiritual development, and social services to the Lenawee County community, centered around Jesus Christ.

Position Summary:

Looking for a team member who loves the Lord and is actively working on their relationship with God.  This position is responsible for: performing preventive maintenance, routine maintenance, and repairs for all the building equipment. Potential on call for nights, weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.

Responsibilities:

·         Candidate must have mechanical ability and good trouble shooting skills.

·         Must have a willingness to be trained in areas they may not have full knowledge of.

·         Maintains safe working conditions and practices

·         Log chiller operations and report problems

·         Maintain and repair air handlers, unit heaters and other HVAC support equipment

·         Make electrical repairs on lighting, motors, and small equipment.

·         Repair and maintain health club equipment

·         Repair and maintain food service equipment

·         Perform plumbing repair and maintenance 

·         Maintain and repair swimming pool support equipment to included water testing

·         Call in contractors for repairs that are outside our training and abilities

·         Keep track of work through web-based maintenance program

·         Must be able to read technical manuals to help solve repair problems 

·         Must be able to work with little supervision

·         Carries out other assigned duties as directed by the Director of Facilities and (FMM)

Qualification:

·         Christian Faith:

·         Profess and demonstrate a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

·         Adherence to Christian principles and values in both personal and professional life.

·         Should have at least 3-years of experience or training or working knowledge in the following areas:

o   Electrical

o   Plumbing

o   HVAC

o   General carpentry

o   Commonly used power tools

·         Additional requirements needed 

o   Good Mechanical ability

o   Good trouble shooting skills, need to be able to carry 50 pounds on a regular basis
