Why you'll love this job

We are seeking a leader who can define our editorial vision and build the operational framework that brings it to life. • Organize and maintain comprehensive content calendars to ensure timely and strategic delivery and amplification of content across traditional communications channels (Newsroom, intranet, social media, email, etc.) as well as traditional marketing-owned channels.

  • Track and analyze content performance metrics to optimize strategy and demonstrate ROI.
  • Ensure all content is optimized for search engines and discoverability.
  • Stay up to date with content marketing trends, tools and technologies to continuously innovate content strategy.
  • Identify, develop and maintain new avenues for content.
  • Aggressively help tell the story of American’s efforts to execute on the company’s strategic objectives, including all branding and associated communications, to internal and external audiences.
  • Write and edit copy with a keen eye for detail and alignment of messaging, often on tight deadlines.
