Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Medical Assistant to join a well-established ophthalmology clinic. The ideal candidate will support ophthalmologists in delivering high-quality patient care and ensure smooth clinic operations through both clinical and administrative responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: + Administer eye exams and assist with ophthalmic procedures + Take patient histories and measure visual acuity + Perform diagnostic tests such as tonometry and ophthalmoscopy + Support physicians during patient evaluations and treatments Patient Education: + Educate patients on eye conditions, treatment plans, and medication usage + Provide clear post-visit instructions and follow-up guidance Administrative Duties: + Schedule appointments and manage patient records + Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness and supply levels + Coordinate front office tasks to ensure efficient patient flow Top Skills: + Medical imaging + Medical assisting + Ophthalmology knowledge + Patient care + Front office medical operations Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
