Florida Retina Specialists, with locations in Merritt Island and Viera, FL is looking for a Medical Assistant to join our exceptional team. We have a cohesive team of physicians and staff who respect one-another, enjoy working together, and have fun! Medical and ophthalmology experience is helpful. We will train on the job.

Responsibilities

• Bring patients back from waiting room, gather data from patient, enter into EHR software
• Perform diagnostic testing
• Assist physician with in-office procedures like lasers and injections
• Scribe for physician during the medical exam into the Electronic Medical Records software

Qualifications

• Experience working in a medical field is very helpful
• Familiarity working with electronic medical records
• High attention to detail and willing to learn new medical terminology
• Certifications and licenses that apply
