We are currently hiring Medical Billers to work in our fast-paced office. A successful candidate will have at least two years of experience in medical billing and will be able to produce detailed bills and reports on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will have a background in medical fields such as Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, Internal medicine and Mental Health as well as preferred experience working with insurance companies such as but not limited to Blue Cross, Aetna, Cigna, Tufts, Medicare and Medicaid.
Responsibilities:

• Bill insurance companies for medical procedures.
• Create reports for medical information.
• Assist with filing doctor's claims for insurance reimbursement.
• Manage medical accounts receivable.
• Prepare paperwork for insurance companies via varied softwares- Tebra (formerly known as Kareo) is a plus.
• Calling daily on outstanding claims
• Verify insurance coverage of patients' claims if EOB and denials and ensure that the correct amount is sent to the patient's health care provider.
• Know and understand a patient's insurance plan in order to verify that the correct procedures are being billed to the correct payer.
• Weekly calls with the Providers office
