We are seeking a reliable, positive, and patient mentor to work with a 15-year-old female with ADHD in Pontiac. This is a part-time position with weekday afternoon hours, focused on providing support, structure, and encouragement to help her thrive.
📍 Location: Pontiac, MI
🕒 Schedule: Weekday afternoons after 5pm, weekends available!
💵 Compensation: Weekly pay
🎓 Training: Paid training provided
About the Role:
As a mentor, you will build a supportive relationship with a bright and energetic teen, helping her stay focused, organized, and motivated after school. This is not a clinical or tutoring role—just consistent, compassionate guidance and companionship.
Key Responsibilities:
Encourage focus and follow-through on daily tasks (homework, routines, etc.)
Help with time management and organization strategies
Engage in meaningful conversation and supportive activities
Be a consistent, positive presence in her weekly routine
Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with teens, especially those with ADHD or neurodiverse needs
Extremely reliable and consistent
Patient, upbeat, and encouraging
Strong communicator with a warm, supportive approach
Must have reliable transportation and be able to pass a background check
Must be 18 or older
