About the Role
This remote, contract-based opportunity allows you to play a vital role in helping students access their education seamlessly. As a Sign Language Interpreter, you'll work in real time, interpreting classroom lessons and school activities, ensuring that students can fully participate and succeed in their academic journey.
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
Active Sign Language Interpreter certification.
At least 2 years of experience in educational interpreting or a similar environment.
Familiarity with remote or teletherapy services (preferred).
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
Strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
Confidence using virtual platforms and technology.
Residency in Montana.
Your Key Responsibilities
Provide live virtual ASL interpretation for classroom lessons and school activities.
Bridge communication between students and their instructors, enabling full engagement in academic content.
Collaborate with teachers and school staff to ensure student success.
Maintain accurate records of services provided and student progress.
Respond promptly to any needs that arise during virtual sessions.
