M&S Consulting is seeking an experienced Mulesoft Developer to work in Washington, DC. Candidate must possess an active Top Secret/PSI clearance to design, develop, and maintain integrations between Salesforce and multiple legacy applications for a Federal Agency. This role involves leveraging MuleSoft in a GovCloud Plus environment to ensure secure and seamless data flow, meeting the unique compliance and security requirements of federal operations. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of MuleSoft, expertise in integration development, and a strong background in working within a cleared environment.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Integration Development:

  • Design and implement robust integration solutions using MuleSoft to connect Salesforce with legacy systems.
  • Develop APIs, data transformations, and ETL processes to facilitate seamless data flow.
  • Optimize integration performance, reliability, and scalability to meet federal agency needs.

2. Technical Leadership:

  • Provide technical guidance and best practices for MuleSoft implementation in a GovCloud Plus environment.
  • Lead troubleshooting and issue resolution related to integration workflows and data continuity.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all integration solutions.
  • Work closely with Salesforce developers, system administrators, and federal stakeholders to understand integration requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

3. Compliance and Security:

  • Ensure all integrations adhere to federal compliance standards, including FedRAMP and air-gapped environments.
  • Implement security best practices and work within the constraints of a cleared environment.
  • Conduct regular security assessments to safeguard data integrity and confidentiality.

4. Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

  • Stay updated on MuleSoft and Salesforce advancements and their applicability to federal use cases.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance system performance and user experience.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in MuleSoft development.
  • Experience with other middleware or integration platforms.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • ITIL certification or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with legacy systems.
  • Proven expertise in developing solutions in a GovCloud Plus environment.

Certifications:

  • MuleSoft Certified Developer (Level 1 or higher).
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator).

Skills:

  • Proficient in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, DataWeave, and RAML/API specifications.
  • Strong understanding of federal compliance standards and security requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Clearance: Active Secret/Top Secret/PSI clearance required.
