JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Brief: Picks Product orders by sales order and
inventory item, placing finished order in box or shipping container, without damage or mistake. Essential Functions: Hand selects orders for customers using a voice-operated headset in a cooler environment. Stack product on pallets following proper selecting procedures, for example, no stacking heavy on light, labels facing out, etc. Be able to operate an electric pallet jack to transport the picked products to the loading dock. Maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment, including but not limited to pallet jacks, the voice operated headset, and personal protective equipment. Stock products in their appropriate location in the cooler when necessary. Able to stand for extended periods of time and be productive within a repetitive lifting environment. Move in and out of the cooler repeatedly during shift. Temperature variances from 35 degrees Fahrenheit to 70 degrees Fahrenheit throughout the day. Report damaged or opened stock before placing it into inventory. Responsible for keeping work area and aisles clean and free from obstructions. Any other associated function required to complete the tasks assigned by the Manager. Knowledge, skills, and abilities required: Able to walk, stand and lift products for the majority of work shift. Follow company safety procedures for food safety. Ability to read, write and communicate in English. Must have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide). Be willing to become forklift certified if not already. Work Hours: 4 days per week Monday to Thursday, 5pm start time.
