CURRENTLY HIRING SCHOOL OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark is a non-profit corporation affiliated with Mount Carmel Guild Schools Corporation .MCGS operates Mount Carmel Guild Academy, a private out-of-district placement for children within special education, for grades PRE-K-12. The Academy is located in West Orange, New Jersey. MCGS is currently seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist. The school-based Occupational Therapist helps students access the academic environment and participate to the maximum extent possible in educationally related activities. Therapists are responsible for evaluating and treating students with disabilities, maintaining daily progress notes, completing daily attendance records, writing progress reports, attending IEP meetings, and recommending adaptive equipment, environmental accommodations, or assistive technology. To apply, applicants will need to meet the following minimal qualifications:

Bachelors degree required.
Completion of occupational therapy program from an approved school required.
New Jersey license as an Occupational Therapist required.
