We are on the lookout for a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Manager of Construction Operations (Operational Specialist) to join our dynamic team in the Civil Construction industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the operations of our civil & heavy civil construction projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of our projects and make a significant impact on our company's operational efficiency. Our focus is on heavy civil projects: waterways, infrastructure landscape, stormwater infrastructure and drainageways.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Operational Specialist, your primary duties will include:
1. Overseeing and managing all aspects of our construction projects.
2. Developing and implementing operational procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
3. Collaborating with project managers and other team members to ensure that operations are integrated into the overall project plan.
5. Providing technical guidance and training to team members.
6. Maintaining accurate records and preparing regular reports for management.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Operational Specialist position should have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Civil Construction and/or Infrastructure projects.
3. Strong understanding of regulation compliance and construction processes.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues promptly.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
