Job Description:
As an Oral Surgery Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient surgical experience for both the provider and patient. You will assist in all aspects of patient care, from the initial consultation through surgery and post-operative care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the oral surgeon during exams and surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients during sedation and surgery.
• Operate and maintain x-ray equipment.
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms for surgical procedures.
• Sterilize and organize surgical instruments and equipment.
• Take and document patient medical history.
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide pre- and post-op instructions.
• Support infection control and compliance protocols.

Requirements:

• Previous dental assisting experience required.
• X-ray certification required.
• DAANCE certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Compensation:

• Pay is dependent upon experience, education, and qualifications.
