We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Orthopedic Technician to join our team. As an Orthopedic Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting orthopedic surgeons and other medical professionals in providing high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include performing various duties related to patient service, care, and support. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology who are passionate about helping patients in need.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Applications of casts and splints removal of casts
  • Fit patients for DME
  • Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are properly stocked with necessary supplies
  • Apply and remove casts, braces, and other orthopedic devices as directed by medical staff
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as an Orthopedic Technician preferred
  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Previous experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with orthopedic equipment and devices
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient service
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
