If you would like to start working in a dynamic hospital environment in a supportive team environment providing hands-on care for patients with a leader in healthcare, please join BayCare as a Patient Care Technician. + Day shifts are 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM + Night shifts are 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM + Pool (with different shift commitments ranging from 2 twelve-hour shifts to 3 twelve-hour shifts per month, more shifts available if desired) **The Patient Care Technician:** + Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. + Assists the nursing staff in the delivery of patient care as directed by the RN. **Position Requires:** + A minimum of one year of CNA work experience in a skilled nursing facility; or a minimum of 6 months of PCT (Patient Care Tech)/CNA work experience in a hospital; or in lieu of experience may have completed approved CNA school (with clinicals); or nursing student with completion of Nursing Fundamentals + Extended new hire training and new hire department orientation is available for new Florida licensed CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant with no experience yet. + High School Diploma, GED or Certificate of Completion (minimum) + Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (from American Red Cross or American Heart Association) + Ability to work Full time hours is a plus!
