Job Description

A prominent specialty contractor in the Midwest is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join their team. They're looking for someone that is comfortable with owning the entire payroll process and is knowledgeable about multi-state and local laws.

The client is located near Elmwood Park. 

Responsibilities:

• Expertly manage end-to-end payroll operations for a large workforce exceeding 1,000 individuals.
• Maintain impeccable adherence to all relevant state and local payroll laws and ordinances.
• Inspire and train payroll team members, enhancing their skills and departmental efficiency.
• Drive process improvements by partnering with various departments to develop and implement optimal payroll strategies.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a Payroll Manager.
• Multi-State payroll experience.
• Leadership experience.

Pluses:

• Experience in a union environment.
• Experience w/ construction companies.
