A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Phlebotomist
Position type: Full-time Contract, potential contract to hire
Duration: 3+ months
Location: Ilion, New York 13357 United States
Shift/Schedule: 1st Shift Mon-Fri 07:15 AM to 03:45 PM
As a Phlebotomist, your responsibilities:
- Experience doing blood draws, labelling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
- Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
- Demonstrate technique/s using straight needles and/or butterfly needles.
- Experience doing blood draws
- Processing Urine
- Recording maintenance data and decontamination
- Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures
- Patient focused
- Answer telephone calls, read laboratory results to satisfy inquiries.
- Good with hard sticks and pediatric
- Attend annual department trainings Answer telephone calls, read laboratory results to satisfy inquiries.
Minimum Qualifications: - Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- High School Diploma or GED 1-2 years of experience.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS: Pay Range*: $17/hr to $18/hr.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
