Job Title:Plant (IT)Information Technology Technician

Location: Omaha, NE

Reporting to:Plant IT Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities include,but not limited to:

• Include Day to Day repairs of electrical and/or electronic components on electrical pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems within all production areas.
• Conduct repairs and preventive maintenance on all weighing equipment within the plant; ensuring daily calibration checks are done according to standards set and troubleshooting programmable logic controllers and associated systems.
• Setup and maintenance of plant computers and associated equipment
• Maintaining plant infrastructure associated with the network etc.
• Maintain instrumentation, alarm systems, and scales.
• Installation and automation of new equipment and wire appropriately.
• Other tasks as directed

Key Qualifications, Abilities, and Skills:

• Education in IT, college degree preferred but not required
• Experience in IT
• Electrical and mechanical background
• Must have PLC knowledge
• Must be able to read prints and schematics
• Advanced computer skills
• Good written and oral communications skills
• Ability to keep record of scale logs
