Step into a full-time welder role supporting a manufacturing client where accuracy, craftsmanship, and safety drive the work. You’ll transform stainless-steel and aluminum into finished fixtures by interpreting shop drawings, laying out components, and executing clean, consistent welds.
Your day starts with reviewing detailed blueprints and shop drawings. You’ll measure, mark, and fit stainless and aluminum components, then perform MIG, TIG, and flux-cored welding in vertical, flat, horizontal, and overhead positions. After welding, you’ll inspect your beads to spec, grind and sand for a clean finish, and move assemblies using cranes/hoists and other material-handling tools. Throughout, you’ll stage materials correctly, store finished pieces, and keep your work area safe and organized.
