Press Brake Operator – Metal Fabrication

Currie, NC | Full-Time | $18–$22/hr (DOE)

We’re currently looking for a skilled and dependable Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic fabrication team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping and forming metal components to exact specifications, contributing directly to the quality and consistency our customers rely on.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate manual and CNC hydraulic press brakes (175 & 250 ton).
  • Operate metal shears, ironworkers, and other fabrication equipment.
  • Read and interpret basic blueprints and specifications.
  • Measure and mark reference points using tape measures and layout tools.
  • Follow safety and quality procedures consistently.
  • Lift and move materials up to 75 lbs.
  • Operate forklifts and assist with general shop duties.


Requirements:

  • 1+ year experience operating press brakes or working in a fabrication/warehouse setting (preferred).
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and wear steel-toe boots.
  • Must pass a pre-employment exam, background check, drug screen, and E-Verify.
  • Forklift operation experience preferred.
  • Must be able to read and write in English.


Schedule:

  • Monday–Thursday , 40 hours/week.
  • Occasional mandatory overtime.
