Internal Medicine and Family Practice Physicians are encouraged to consider an available full-time Primary Care Physician position with Liberty Healthcare at the C.M. Tucker Jr. Nursing Care Center in Columbia, SC.
The Tucker Nursing Care Center provides a wide array of long-term care services to older adult veterans.
The Center is operated by the South Carolina Department of Mental Health, and selected physicians there work through a long-term collaborative partnership with Liberty Healthcare Corporation.
This role is responsible for providing basic primary care services to a caseload of older adult clients.
You can expect a nice work / life balance and regular weekday schedule with daytime hours. Compensation is fixed, and billing is not required. Professional liability insurance is provided.
You are a good fit for this position if you are licensed to practice medicine in South Carolina and have successfully completed a residency in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
Board Certification is a plus and experience providing primary care to older adults is strongly preferred.
