What we need:

At Mohawk we seek to find a better way, a safer way and a more efficient way. Mohawk is looking for a Process Engineer to provide support and assistance to the manufacturing operations in design and production. As a Process Engineer, you will help us meet and control quality and cost efficiency standards.

What you’ll do:

· Work closely with manufacturing management to identify business needs and determine courses of action

· Develop, assess, and implement techniques used in production to maximize operations

· Lead or assist on complex projects within manufacturing operations, including providing updates and reporting on projects

· Work closely with production staff to assist in corrections of products

· Identify, define, and measure improvement opportunities for projects

· Manage daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and reporting on systems output

What you have:

· Bachelor’s degree in Process or Industrial Engineering (Master’s degree preferred)

· 2-4 years of experience (as a Process Engineer preferred)

· Knowledge or experience in Six Sigma and Lean (preferred)

What you’re good at:

· Communicating effectively with a wide range of individuals in written, oral and interpersonal form

· Achieving results through team efforts, challenging established practices and drawing relevant conclusions

· Designing, developing, and driving optimization and results through reporting and analytics

· Staying organized and paying attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

What else?

· Expect to travel approximately 10% for trade shows, customer visitation, etc.
