Ulta Beauty is building a best-in-class Data & AI capabilities with the goal of creating enterprise value through AI, making a significant impact on the company's already rapid growth. The company wants to ensure innovation and rigor building out Data & AI driven decisioning capabilities across the enterprise.  

We are seeking an experienced and visionary AI Product Manager to lead the strategy and development of our AI-driven products. In this role, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of AI products, from ideation to launch, ensuring they align with Ulta Beauty's business goals and deliver exceptional value to our guests. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and maintain our competitive edge in the beauty industry. Through ongoing interaction and collaboration with engineering/development, business and financial stakeholders, product managers set priorities, guide and support development and operational activities, and provide direction and oversight to AI/ML product teams

YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY: 

• Define and execute the AI product strategy and roadmap, aligning it with Ulta Beauty's overall vision and objectives.
• Socialize product vision, strategy, and progress to senior leadership and other stakeholders .
• Build a deep understanding of business goals and processes to inform AI product driven improvement recommendation
• Lead the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality AI products.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, marketing, and other teams to identify market opportunities and define product requirements.
• Prioritize and manage the AI product roadmap, balancing short-term goals with long-term strategic initiatives.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the AI landscape
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Monitor product performance and user feedback, leveraging data to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI technology and incorporate relevant innovations into product development
• Manage product investment decision making and the overall financial performance of the product, taking a return-on-investment approach to increasing the value while minimizing product costs

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years in product management, with a focus on AI or technology-driven products.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and data analytics.
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex product development projects.
• Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is preferred.
• Passion for innovation and a deep understanding of the AI landscape and market trends.
• Passion for the beauty industry and a keen interest in leveraging AI to enhance the guest experience.
• Excellent communications skills, both oral and written. Must be able to communicate effectively and confidently with users, team members and management.
• Experience with cloud data platform such as GCP/Azure/AWS
• Industry experience in Retail is a huge plus

The pay range for this position is $117,000.00 - $155,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
