Marvel Equipment Corporation is hiring a Production Manager in Grand Prairie, Texas

Marvel Equipment is a dynamic, quickly growing manufacturing company of Loading Dock Seals and Shelters with locations in Barrie, ON and Grand Prairie, TX.  If you are a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and committed individual, don’t miss this rewarding and challenging opportunity to grow with us.  We are currently seeking a Production Manager for our Grand Prairie, TX location.

 

Job Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for all aspects of production and team members.
• Hiring and training of new team members following company onboarding procedure with support from HR
• Adhere to all company rules and guidelines per the Employee Handbook
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing all personnel on resources and equipment.
• Provide coaching and assistance to all employees to accomplish daily tasks, motivating organizing and encouraging teamwork within their teams to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded.
• Responsible for managing all production employees’ productivity tracking and record management.
• Perform quality audits during shifts to ensure all employees are following guidelines.
• Recognize and take steps to resolve operating problems to minimize their impact on operations.
• Liaise with procurement and logistics to ensure continuous stock.  Managing the correct receipt and storage of all incoming products.
• Participate in production meetings with head office.
• Adhere to the production delivery schedule and communicate any deviation from the schedule so it can be communicated back to the customer.

Job Requirements

• Must have a valid passport and be able to travel to Canada
• Excellent management and leadership skills
• Minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Hands-on team player
• Experience complying with Health & Safety
• Able to use various software
• Able to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with other departments and customers .
