Job Description

Production Worker

Pay: $19-21/hr.

3rd Shift: Sun-Thu (11pm to 7am)

Requirements:

  • Mechanically inclined and ability to read a tape measure to 1/16"
  • Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance of a hoist; up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and use hands
  • Computer operation skill: Moderate

Job Details:

  • Operate slitter efficiently and productively against set goals.
  • Loading and unloading of rolls on slitter.
  • Interpret and understand written information, (orders, SOP’s, Lam. and print roll tickets etc.)
  • Palletization, (building pallets of finished goods per customer specifications)
  • Bagging of finished rolls.
  • Quality checks slit material
    • Lay flat/measurement of slit web
    • Print quality/print defects
    • Roll/web tension and integrity
  • Enter accurate information into computer and on production forms.
  • Print out and attach accurate labels to finished rolls.
  • Keep machine and surrounding area safe and clean.
  • Spot and determine visual defects.
  • Cut out defects and splice together good material.
  • Complete tasks in adequate time limits, as to meet press daily goal and schedule needs.
  • SOP’s may cover the area of (but are not limited to):
    • Employee Health & Safety
    • SQF (Safe Quality Food packager) and GMP (good manufacturing procedures) focused on eliminating contaminates in all packaging manufactured
