OUR INDUSTRY-LEADING PAY STRUCTURE

• $18 to $25  an hour as a Mover / Driver.
• W2 Full employee benefits (not 1099) with Workers Compensation to protect you if you get hurt

Mover / Driver Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Disassemble and reassemble furniture and appliances
• Load and unload large items to and from box trucks
• Efficiently pack smaller items into boxes, taking care to protect fragile goods
• Drive trucks to and from delivery locations
• Unpack items and arrange new spaces for use according to customer specification
• Maintain vehicle equipment; replace oil, fill gas tank, perform general motor vehicle maintenance as needed for safety
• Follow all state and national safety regulations and standards

Mover / Driver Requirements and Qualifications: 

• The physical ability to lift and move heavy objects throughout a normal workday
• Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties
• A positive, collaborative attitude and professional demeanor
• Clean MVR
• Demonstrate safe driving practices
• Able to adapt to changing schedules or routine
• Reliable transportation to go to work
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Prior moving experience (at least 1 year)
• Able to work night, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Bilingualism a plus
• A high school diploma or GED certificate (preferred but totally not required)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour expected hours: 20 – 40 per week benefits:

• Flexible schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Newport News, VA 23601: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Moving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
