As an integral member of this top-tier medical team, your contributions will help establish a new standard of excellence in optimization navigation.Job Responsibilities:Advocacy: Advocate for patients needs and preferences within the healthcare system, ensuring their voices are heard.Monitoring and Follow-Up: Monitor patients' progress and follow up on any concerns or barriers to care pre-surgery and post-surgery.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, interactions, and care plans.Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about best practices in perioperative care and patient navigation to enhance service quality.Patient Navigation: Guide surgical patients through the perioperative diagnostic and treatment process, ensuring clarity and support at each stage.Pre-Anesthesia Testing: Conduct pre-anesthesia testing (PAT) to assess patients health and readiness for surgery.Relationship Building: Establish positive and respectful relationships with patients and their families to foster trust and open communication.Experience Facilitation: Facilitate a positive surgical experience by addressing patient concerns and providing timely information.Coordination of Care: Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure seamless coordination and continuity of care throughout the perioperative journey.Patient Education: Educate patients and families on the surgical process, recovery expectations, and post-operative care.Qualifications:Education:Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.Certifications:Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Montana, or ability to obtain prior to start date.Licensure:Basic Life Support (BLS).Experience:At least 3 years of outpatient nursing experience is required.Benefits:Professional Growth: Ongoing learning and tuition assistance to keep your skills sharp and your career moving forward.Comprehensive Healthcare: Starting at just $38/month, plus 50% off all our services for you and your family.
